PicoScan calibration is very simple and doesn't take much time either.

First you have to make sure that your Canon Camera and projector have the same field of view and are focused. Calibration board is ideal for this purpose.

Once your camera and projector are aligned, you can start calibration. Calibration procedure involves capturing 5 or 6 different calibration board positions. PicoScan software will process those images to determine extrinsic and intrinsic system parameters - focal length, radial and tangential distortion for both camera and projector lenses, distance between them and other parameters.
